Housing & Community Life

With so many places to eat, study, socialize and relax, you'll feel at home in no time at all.

Willamette requires all first and second year undergraduate students live on campus – and there are options available for upperclassmen and graduate students, as well. These include traditional residential communities, apartments, sororities and themed residences.

Students who live off campus benefit from Salem’s affordability and multitude of options within a short walk or drive to campus.

Hungry? Willamette’s catering partner, Bon Appetit, provides a host of “all you care to eat” (AYCE) or grab-and-go options at several cafes across campus. Or spend your time socializing and sipping a coffee at the student run Bistro Willamette, famous for its eclectic décor and homemade chocolate chip cookies.
